Remorse, the acceptance we were wrong, the wounds that cannot be healed.
It is painful for everyone, but cowards prefer mitigating the pain by replacing the consciousness of fairness and honor with cynicism and indifference.
Brave people turn the pain into behavior amendment. Brave people do not bear the pain, so do not cowards, but instead of relaxing their morale, they avoid the source of the pain by not repeat their mistakes of the past, they do not repeat the words they should have never said, the accusations they should have thought carefully, the wounds they inflicted to others.
