Chasing the dairy

Some colleagues, who do not push themselves too much to consume ethically, have complained about vegans using the same name meat industry had used for their products.

It is alright when the flavor of their products taste the quite similar, like some brands of sausages and other stuff, like spicy chorizo. It is ok in those matters just because people can quickly have an idea of what known flavor they could expect, but it is a bad idea when we know that is not the case.

Expectation is sacred, we should honor and respect it. We cannot afford disappointing people, whether they are customers, our beloveds, co-workers, the people we command, etc.

In addition to the ethical and obvious convenience reasons, some of those products are so cool that they deserve their own reputation, they deserve not being a copy of something else.
