One of the riskiest pathological beliefs Conseratives spread is "the cult to the strongest".

Conservatives understood the use of mere closeness to power, even in its most primitive form: physical power. They have thrived for centuries by offering tribute to the strongest, sweetening their ears with compliments and hintting pieces of advice of what might be better to rule their society; splattering some benefits to the ones at the bottom so they remain self-restrained despite being superior in numbers.
That explains why Conservatives consistently excuse the bully rather than their victims; the abusive business owner or corporation over their consumers; the carnivorous animal with blatant contempt for herbivorous ones; that's why it was so hard for women to get their right to vote or even be considered relevant in public life and why Conservative women long for strong men that excuse them from decision-making and problem solving.
Conservatives are cautious when negotiating with tyrants and kingpings, while mocking counterparts in a less favorable position: "you don't have the cards", they love to brag. They are not negotiating fairness, but power, which sounds obvious and sane to any Conservative.
This ideology has made people to embrace systems in which there's an elite that abuses its power, as long as there's guarantee there will always be someone they can be "above of".
This lifestyle creates clear imbalances and instability since there will always be a new bully willing to challenge the current one. What has allowed societies to improve is stability, rather than conquest. What is the incentive for an individual to spend time innovating if she/he has to be concerned on learning the arts of war and being overly cautious about resource scarcity and premature death?
Ideologies are cancer.
