It's cruel leaving the problems to your decendants in a selfish interest of just bringing meaning to yourself, forcing your kids to love you for that in the process.
We must stop celebrating and congratulating pregnant couples, it's a contest, but not a funny one. We can achieve meaning in many meaningful ways, stop following sheeps that just thoughtlessly repeat.
It's ok to economically support parenthood, we're not beasts leaving innocent kids to their fate, but we must put numerical constraints to such parenthood, the very existence is at stake. Many organisms and human cultures have self-inflicted extinction in the past, aren't we better than that.

The reason food system sustains us today is they're using chemicals to grow it, poisoning us and deforestating the planet. What are your supposedly beloved descendants going to breathe?, you don't care?, Will it be their problem?
If you already have kids, don't feel bad, we still need Humans, but quality humans, not quantity humans. Educate them, give them true critical thinking, stop the capitalist propaganda that is consuming everything for the sake of a few martian elites who hate the beautiful Earth and all its diverse living beings, including us.
